Kay Tabernacle is a painter, en plein air: an outdoors painter. Working mainly in oils, occasionally in watercolour and drawing, Kay combines an interest in landscape and the natural world with hiking, camping and sometimes running.

Kay trained in painting at Cardiff School of Art and Design, and at the Slade School of Fine Art.
